Charitable Giving Platform.
MyTzedakah’s mission is to create a charitable giving platform that allows users to easily build a monthly giving fund that includes all of their favorite charities, making it simple to donate to everyone, all at once. However, the product was lacking a clear design direction which, in turn, was creating confusion and mistrust in new users, causing potential users to leave the site before even starting the process. My mission was to create a clear roadmap for users, modernize the design and minimizing the clutter.
User Account
Despite the fact that users were inputting their credit card details to create recurring payments, the original product didn’t have an existing infrastructure for users to have an overview of their fund, or update their account details. It was essential to create that infrastructure, and design an account portal that provided users with access to their account details, as well as clear pathways to engage and interact with the other features of the site.
Now, once users have created their fund, they have access to their MyFund page, where they can view and edit their fund, give gifts, refer friends, make one-time donations and create fundraisers.
Fundraisers
MyTzedakah was looking to build a platform where users could not only set up a monthly fund, but also create fundraising campaigns to share with friends and family. We needed to find a way to create a responsive fundraising feature that worked seamlessly with the existing platform, while giving users the chance to make it their own by adding personal touches.
